6. Register With 411

Hello, and welcome to this module Register with 411. So at this point we have a commercial address. We have an 800 number. We have a business. We have a tax ID number. And we are setting everything up to, we have a fax number. So now what we want to do is register our business with 411. And this is going to be the beginning of making our business public information. And as we’re publicly doing business, so all we want to do is show, I’m going to show you really quickly, how we do this. And this is a really big part of the corporate profile that a lot of people miss. So the company name, the address, and phone number must be listed with the 411 directory assistance. They will check the 411 Directory Assistance, to confirm your company is there including a reverse look-up and matching the address and other information.

So this is why the commercial address and information. The business need to see with 411, all of this stuff has to match up. So they’ll even call the number just to find out. So they’re really easy tricks that lenders use to see if a business is real, just be aware. It can take 24 to 72 hours for the data to show up. Once you register for 411. Now to get your 411 listing, you have a few options. Number one, is you can call AT&T business or you can just call, call them at that number. I probably wouldn’t recommend doing that just because I sent the way I’ve done it, but I’ve known that’s the way that people can do it. You can also do the Verizon business and do a 411, a foreign listing at that number there. Again, I wouldn’t recommend you doing that one, or you can just do a local business phone number and let the provider. And then let them know that you need to establish a local business again.

I still probably wouldn’t do your local phone provider either. So my suggestion is going to be, you can just use free 411 listing service called List Yourself to submit your business information. And then once you validate your business phone number, your information is sent to the directory assistance databases will call you use is submitted to the database, all of the carriers. Now, this is why when we set up the 800 number for our pre-test purposes, you can just have that 800 number ring to yourself phone for the time being. And that’s going to be how they validate your phone number, because they’re going to call, right? So right below this video, I’m including the link to go to that particular place. And it’s going to be List Yourself, but right below this video, you’ll see it. And you’ll come to this page right here. Now, you can come right here to where it says a single businesses, and then you can just literally just register your business. So you would just put your information right here, your company name, business category. And again, here’s that site code again. So it’s so important that we, we know what our business is and you’ve you’ve you would have already identified what your business is. Okay? Because we talked about this previously, so you would just choose a Business Management is all

here somewhere. Business management services, nice and easy. And then you would just fill out all of your information here, including your branded company email address that you’ve already set up and you can just hit call me and then you can put your 800 number there. And then when they call the 800 number is going to ring to you. Okay? So go ahead and get this knocked out. Once it’s done, you will be listed. Give it about 72 hours for it to kick in, and then you’ll be good to go.
